Forklift Maintenance & Repair Tech – Electrical/Gas/Propane/Diesel
Baytown, TX
Schedule:
Monday–Friday (Some Saturdays as needed). Different shifts available.
This role is hands‑on and requires strong diagnostic, mechanical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs on all types of forklifts (electrical, gas, propane, diesel).
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using manuals and diagrams.
- Write clear service assessments, including issues found and recommended solutions.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates for customers.
- Complete field service work at customer locations.
- Create and process purchase orders (POs).
- Conduct routine maintenance such as replacing batteries, belts, hoses, and troubleshooting system failures.
- Previous experience as a forklift mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license required.
