• Ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are being used for the specified tasks.
• Prepare and apply fire protection systems and sound control using coatings such as cement, gypsum, and acrylic.
• Read blueprints and data to determine requirements for the job.
• Select the amount and type of fireproofing to be installed and the method of application according to the type and shape of surface.
• Demonstrate the installation, fitting, fabrication, and attachment of fireproofing materials.
• Organize and order materials as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education – No minimum education requirements.
• Certifications/Licenses – Valid driver’s license.
• Experience – 4 years of journeyman‑level experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States;
