Electrician Foreman – Austin Industrial – (Baytown, TX)

OverviewThe Foreman supervises and coordinates skilled and unskilled workers on construction projects such as highway structures, right‑of‑way clearing, pile driving, subgrade preparation, road surfacing, curb installation, underground utility installation, traffic control, street paving and related work. Key responsibilities include scheduling work to meet timetables safely, adhering to plans and specifications, and meeting estimated costs. The position may require maintaining a working relationship with inspectors, developers, vendors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities- Supervise crews of hourly trade personnel, ensuring productivity and safety.
- Execute Work Plans, monitor adherence to schedules and cost objectives.
- Manage a small fleet of onsite equipment and perform preventive maintenance training for operators.
- Order self‑perform materials, supplies and tools from approved suppliers; maintain accurate daily reports.
- Inspect work in progress, enforce tolerance standards and take corrective action when necessary.
- Conduct toolbox and JHA safety meetings; enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain quality of work, engage in continuous improvement, and facilitate on‑the‑job training.
- Supervise subcontractor work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications and schedules.
- 5+ years of industrial experience and supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid or actively pursuing a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) electrical license; NCCER Electrical certification highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and TWIC Card.
- Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
