ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Fiber Splicing Construction Supervisor
, you are responsible for leading a team of Fiber splicers who produce high-quality work while using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more to make a difference. - Provide leadership in the utility construction industry
- Develop your team’s skill set and knowledge of fiber splicing
- Gives direction to multiple crews and their Job-site activities
- Support the company-wide safety culture
- Drive your team to meet deadlines and produce quality projects
- Provide a high level of customer service when interfacing with customers for escalated issues
About You:
- Safety is a part of your day-to-day
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
- You are looking for long-term projects
- You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
- You have fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience
- You are an expert in fiber engineering and have knowledge of fiber equipment (i.e. fusion splicer, test equipment OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) 1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, Power meter)
- You enjoy problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
- You embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team
- You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes (Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)
