Bay Area Homeless Services provides a safe, sober, and orderly living environment for men, women, and intact families who are temporarily experiencing homelessness. We offer secure housing, three balanced meals each day, and intensive case management that helps residents steady their lives and move forward. Our work centers on preparing individuals for employment through practical training, goal-setting, and consistent, case management.

Role Description -Basic Responsibilities
As a full-time Resident Success Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing programs designed to assist residents in achieving self-sufficiency. This on-site role in Baytown, TX requires developing and managing resident success initiatives, coordinating services, and collaborating with team members to ensure programs align with organizational goals. Daily tasks may include case coordination, coordination with, and reporting to other local case management teams, facilitating pre-employment training, delivering resident skills enhancement classes, monitoring and tracking resident case management, performance, and successes.
Coordinator provides direct support to residents in individual and group settings. There is significant emphasis on data collection, entry into local databases, monthly success reporting (directly to the Executive Director), resident success reporting, and documentation.
- Proficiency enabling the design, implementation, and evaluation of effective resident support programs
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with residents, staff, and external partners effectively
- Experience in managing timelines, resources, and outcomes related to resident success initiatives
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office Products, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to work on-site in Baytown, TX, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in homelessness support services or nonprofit organizations is a plus
- High level of empathy, organizational skills, and a commitment to serving individuals and families in need
