• Safely operate yard trucks to move loading units to and from docks, including connecting/disconnecting airlines and stabilizing trailers.
• Maintain clear and consistent radio and/or system communication with Flow & Traffic teams to coordinate and verify loading unit movements.
• Secure an efficient daily operation by following established routines, identifying improvement opportunities, and acting on them.
• Perform accurate yard inventory checks and safety audits to ensure all equipment, trailers, and areas meet operational standards.
• Identify, correct when possible, and properly report any damages to loading units or equipment.
• Adhere to all supply chain security protocols and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance throughout the yard and dock areas.
• Ensure all required data and paperwork in Yard Management systems are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to support the smooth flow of goods and yard operations.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support goal achievement and contribute to overall operational excellence.
• Commit to and uphold all IKEA health, safety, and security standards within the yard and dock environment.
• Ensure all visiting and onsite drivers understand and comply with site rules, regulations, safety procedures, and protocols.
• Contribute to a strong IKEA culture by embracing diversity, supporting colleagues, and fostering an inclusive work environment.

The pay range for this role is $/hr.

• Previous Internal Hauler or Class A CDL experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a yard truck with a high comfort level of backing and reverse.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 21.92 USD to 30.97 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
