Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Coastal Welding Supply- an AWG Company has an immediate opening for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Baytown, TX. This position requires a Class A CDL with Haz Mat & Air Brakes endorsements.

Out of town routes, requiring 3-4 overnight stays per week. Hotel provided. Home on the weekends. Evening meal per diem provided.

This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storing gas and liquid cylinders and other hard goods supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork, including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class A CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrakes endorsement, or the ability to obtain both endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders;
  Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Background Assessment, and company-administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers.
