Cross Globe is currently seeking an experienced CDL-A Company Driver to join our Houston, Texas operation and support our transportation group.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our TEAM of drivers and demonstrate their RELIABILITY and PROFESSIONALISM while supporting our busy terminal and customers throughout Houston, Baytown, and surrounding local freight areas.

As a CDL-A Company Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of freight throughout our local service areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Transport freight throughout Houston, Baytown, and surrounding local freight areas

• Complete local pickups and deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Properly document and maintain required ELD and transportation records.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, terminal personnel, customers, and other members of the transportation team.
• Report equipment concerns, delays, accidents, or safety issues promptly.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safe driving practices and regulatory compliance.
• Support terminal transportation needs as freight volumes and business requirements change.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL-A road experience within the previous 5 years
  .
• Intermodal driving experience preferred.
• No chargeable accidents within the previous 36 months.
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card
  .
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT drug test and physical
  .
• Ability to provide coverage across Houston, Baytown, and surrounding local freight areas
  .
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transportation and terminal environment.
