Purpose

The parts coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records across all storage locations. This role ensures proper inventory levels are maintained to support operational demands, coordinates with various departments to resolve discrepancies, and implements best practices for inventory control, stock rotation, and warehouse organization.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

Performance must reflect an appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MPulse systems.
  • Perform regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Ensure that inventory items are properly labeled, stored, secured, and that inventory items are rotated.
  • Accurately check inventory items in and out of Mpulse.
  • Issue and release inventoried items to authorized company representatives.
  • Operate a forklift to store and retrieve parts within the shop area, as well as to receive incoming parts.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to forecast stock needs.
  • Assist in implementing inventory management procedures and process improvements.
  • Prepare inventory reports and communicate stock status to relevant departments.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, Maintenance, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Good math and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Minimum Qualifications / Education / Experience / Certifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Experience in a maintenance/warehouse environment is a plus.

Licenses /

Certifications:

  • Forklift certification
Work Environment / Conditions

  • This job primarily operates in a warehouse setting and must be able to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
  • Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
