Shipping & Receiving Clerk – 2nd Shift (Cold Storage)
Location:
Baytown, TX
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Full‑Time | Temp‑to‑Hire
- Process inbound and outbound shipments
- Verify shipping documents, BOLs, and inventory accuracy
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely shipments
- Enter and update data in warehouse management systems
- Track inventory and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Office‑based role inside a cold storage warehouse setting
- Exposure to:
- Cooler (~30°F)
- Freezer (~15°F)
- Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment supporting warehouse operations
Required:
- Previous shipping & receiving experience
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Preferred:
- Experience in warehouse or cold storage operations
- Familiarity with WMS systems or shipping software
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- This is an in‑office administrative position (NOT in the cooler)
- Must be comfortable working in a cold storage environment
- Strong attendance and reliability are critical to success
