Shipping & Receiving​/Warehouse Manager-RMA

Purpose

Responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations and inventory control activities, ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient material movement, regulatory compliance, and high service levels to internal and external customers.

• Leads the warehouse team to ensure safe warehouse operations.
• Understands how warehouse operations impact product quality and implements practices and processes to continually improve.
• Understand the monthly shipping goals and plans and schedules the team to meet those goals.
• Coordinates with the customer service and production manager to ensure customer requirements are met at the lowest possible cost.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and physical inventories in conjunction with the site Controller.
• Investigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes.
• Manage the railcar fleet and ensure the team is trained and capable to execute on railcar movements.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP.
• Oversee staging and storage of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, optimizing space planning for production.
• Leads the warehouse supervisor to execute on truck scheduling, carrier pickups, order packaging supplies, and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Ensure appropriate level of packaging supplies to meet customer orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
• Prepare inventory and operational reports for management.
• Identify and implement cost improvement initiatives in the warehouse.
• Uphold company code of conduct and operational standards.
• Other duties as assigned by site leadership.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent is acceptable based upon prior experience and additional training/certifications obtained.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Demonstrated experience working in ERP/WMS systems.
• Demonstrated experience using MS Excel to collect and analyze data, make recommendations and execute improvement actions.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management ability.

• Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with or without the use of a private office.
• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
• All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately.
