Warehouse Associate Lead - Baytown, TX

Performance Team handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing a strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities receive, store, process, and dispatch cargo to build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain. We offer integrated solutions to plan distribution, improve lead times, and reduce costs across various sectors, industries, and transportation modes.

We are seeking Warehouse Associate Leads in Baytown, TX. 2nd shift – 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Direct Hire with full benefits.

• Lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or stock items and distribute items to production workers or the assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments.
• Mark materials with identifying information such as labels.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arrange products in a specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation and has the ability to motivate and direct team efforts while informing the supervisor of problems or potential issues requiring immediate attention.

• Pay Range: $23.00 per hour
• The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary; the company may adjust this range based on market conditions and location. Final starting salary will be discussed with the selected candidate(s) in accordance with applicable laws.
