Velocity Flex is seeking an experienced Shipping Associate to join our team with the opportunity to grow into a Shipping Team Lead role. This position is ideal for someone with prior shipping and warehouse experience who enjoys working in a hands‑on, team-oriented environment.
LOCATION:
Baytown, TX;
Temp to Hire. Paying $18 to $20/hr, depending on experience.
- Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately
- Verify shipments and maintain shipping documentation
- Assist with inventory and warehouse organization
- Operate shipping equipment and follow safety procedures
- Work closely with the shipping team to meet daily deadlines
- Support team lead responsibilities as needed
- Previous shipping/warehouse experience required
- Leadership potential and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a "good ol' boy" culture
- Monday - Thursday
- 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch
- 4/10 schedule (40 hours per week)
- Temp-to-Hire
- Interview required
- Must pass a drug test
- Background check
