BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist for a job in Beachwood, New Jersey. This position is ongoing, full‑time staff employment.

  • Cape May County – Weekend, Per Diem
  • Cumberland County – Full Time
  • Essex County – Full Time – $10,000 Sign‑on Bonus for Admissions
  • Gloucester County – Full Time
  • Hudson County – Full Time – $10,000 Sign‑on Bonus
  • Monmouth/Middlesex/Somerset/Union – Full Time – $20,000 Sign‑on Bonus
  • Ocean County – Full Time – $25,000 Sign‑on Bonus
  • Salem – Per Diem

What you’ll do

Visit a variety of clients in their own home, helping them recover from an injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization.

What you should have
  • Active and current PT license.
  • Previous home health care experience welcomed, but not required.
  • Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned.
Responsibilities
  • Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements such as mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
  • Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence‑based dressings and topical agents.
  • Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
  • Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy care plan, and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
  • Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client’s health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state‑of‑the‑art touch‑pad tablet.
Qualifications
  • A current New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Base Pay

Starting at $65.00 per point statewide, subject to negotiation based on qualifications and location.
