Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Beachwood, Ohio. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling tax-related tasks, and ensuring seamless bookkeeping operations. Responsibilities:

- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate data entry and financial record maintenance.

- Prepare and file company and individual tax returns in compliance with regulations.

- Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.

- Perform adjustments and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate account balances.

- Utilize Quick Books for effective financial management and reporting.

- Collaborate with accountants and owners to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping during the first half of the month.

- Support accounting duties during the second half of the month, including tax-related tasks.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation. Requirements - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with 3-5 years in a similar role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and familiarity with Drake software is a plus.

- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices.

- Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Capable of working independently and demonstrating a proactive approach.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Availability to work onsite from 9 AM to 4 PM, with potential for hybrid flexibility.
