Overview
Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a NAC Controller. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 to $190,000 per year and is eligible for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities- Own all aspects of accounting, controls, and required reporting for all plants within the division, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational insight.
- Adhere to US GAAP, SOX, and local statutory/tax compliance requirements.
- Evaluate requirements and provide data for audits (internal and external) and controls validations. Perform 2nd Level BSR as required annually.
- Partner with plant finance leaders to understand business operations, products, and drivers, resolving inefficiencies in accounting processes and improving financial transparency.
- Collaborate with shared service centers and Centers of Excellence to ensure high-quality service delivery, providing training and guidance on plant operations and accounting requirements.
- Analyze, map, and improve end-to-end accounting processes using Continuous Improvement methodologies to address business challenges and create efficiencies.
- Drive standardization and centralization of accounting activities across plants and regions to optimize processes and focus on value-added activities.
- Strengthen the team’s analytical thinking by applying accounting knowledge and operations expertise, helping triangulate data, proactively identify issues, and solve complex problems.
- Learn to navigate multiple ERP systems (VISTA, MAPICS, Oracle, SAP) and support the team in resolving system-related accounting challenges.
- Foster a collaborative, detail-oriented, and process-focused culture with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure Balance Sheet integrity; prepare timely balance sheet reconciliations, conduct proper reviews, and address variances promptly.
- Own Controllership Score Card and strive to improve metrics.
- Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports; foster an environment aligned with Eaton’s goals and continuous improvement.
- Support strategic projects within sites and division such as tax, system implementations, and other ad-hoc projects.
- Maintain ethical standards at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 8 years of accounting/finance experience.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills.
- Highly motivated, analytical, and a self-starter.
- Well-versed in business ethics and internal control best practices.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Up to 10% travel required.
