Do you enjoy working with children of all ages and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Play Time Early Childhood Enrichment Center is seeking a caring, flexible, and dependable Float Teacher to support classrooms throughout our center.

As a Float Teacher, you will play an essential role in maintaining a high-quality learning environment by providing classroom support where needed, building positive relationships with children and families, and helping create engaging educational experiences every day.

• Support teachers and children in classrooms throughout the center
• Assist with implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Observe and assess children's progress and developmental needs
• Communicate effectively with families and team members
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Step into various classroom roles as needed while ensuring continuity of care and learning
• Follow all center policies, procedures, and licensing requirements

• Associate degree, bachelor's degree, CDA, or CPL Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an early childhood setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
• Current or willingness to obtain required ODJFS certifications:
  • CPR
  • First Aid
  • Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention
  • Communicable Disease Training
• Ability to complete 30 hours of approved Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) training every two years
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups
• Passion for helping children learn, grow, and succeed
