π Engineer The Infrastructure That Powers Industry
π What You'll Do βοΈ Power System Design & Analysis- Analyze electrical loads and facility power requirements
- Design distribution systems including switch gear, switchboards, panel boards, and MCCs
- Perform system studies and ensure reliable, efficient power delivery
- Select and specify low-voltage equipment:
- Transformers
- Circuit breakers
- Protective relays
- Controls
- Utilize manufacturer design tools such as:
- Siemens COMPAS
- Schneider SE Advantage
- Eaton Bid Manager
- ABB Empower
- Develop and implement protective device coordination schemes
- Apply short-circuit calculations (preferred)
- Ensure compliance with industry standards including:
- UL1558, UL891, UL67, UL845, UL508A
- Coordinate with mechanical and controls engineers
- Support integration of power systems with automation equipment
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Contribute to projects involving data centers, renewable integration, and microgrids
- Stay current on emerging technologies in power systems engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years of power systems engineering experience (industrial or commercial)
- Strong foundation in power generation, transmission, and distribution theory
- Experience with power system analysis software (ETAP, PSCAD, PSS/E or similar)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- EPlan experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Clear communication and collaboration skills
- Exposure to advanced distribution and protection systems
- Work on projects spanning modern infrastructure sectors
- Growing Power & Energy division with expansion potential
- Technical ownership and handsβon engineering involvement
