What You’ll DoAs a Civil Engineer at IFS, you’ll play a key role in planning, designing, and delivering high-quality projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing site layouts, roads, grading, stormwater systems, and utilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Assisting or leading land development projects as a project manager
- Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary design teams
- Preparing site evaluations, schematic designs, and construction documents
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and proposals
- Mentoring junior staff and supporting business development initiatives
- Occasional travel for site visits and client meetings
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 3–5 years of professional experience in civil site design or land development
- Site/civil experience on a variety of project sites including the ability to design site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion
- Strong skills in AutoCAD;
Civil 3D experience preferred - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- EIT or FE certification
- Experience working with federal clients or large-scale public infrastructure projects
- Competitive salary: $75,000–$100,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
- 9/80 flexible work schedule after 60 days (every other Friday off!)
