What You’ll DoAs a Civil Site Drafter / Designer, you’ll support our team of engineers in designing and drafting site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing site layouts, grading and drainage plans, and site development details using AutoCAD Civil 3D (must-have)
- Collecting and interpreting survey data, aerial imagery, and site topography to prepare design packages
- Assisting with stormwater, utility, erosion, and sediment control designs
- Preparing documentation and calculations for project plans and specifications
- Conducting occasional site visits for field data collection and verification
- Collaborating with engineers, drafters, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- EIT or FE certification (a plus)
- Experience or internships in civil site design or land development
- Familiarity with surveying, stormwater management, and utilities design
- Competitive salary range: $52,000–$94,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
