Fitness Service Associate

Summary:

The Fitness Service Associate provides excellent customer service, monitoring safety and cleanliness of all areas.

• Provides excellent customer service and exhibits a positive work attitude. Greet and engage members cordially by name whenever possible. Remain visible and accessible on duty to answer questions.
• Presents a professional appearance at all times, including designated uniform attire, name tag, and good grooming.
• Works collaboratively with FWR staff and management to solve customer service issues.
• Continually monitor the area for safety, cleanliness, and general maintenance needs.
• Cleans areas as required, wearing proper protection when cleaning, handling food, and providing first aid care.
• Reviews and understands information in the agency manual and FWR hiring packet.
• Is knowledgeable of daily, weekly, and monthly programs and activities to answer customer questions in person and/or by phone.
• Ensures all service supplies and amenities are available and fully operational during work hours. Keeps locker rooms clean and well stocked for members.
• Ensures towels are cleaned, folded, and available to members on an ongoing basis.
• Confirms all persons entering the FWR area or Club J locker rooms have the proper membership access cards.
• Attends meetings and special events as requested by supervisor.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, positive attitude, and enthusiasm.
• Current CPR/AED certification (training will be provided).
