The primary purpose of the Budget & Reimbursement Analyst is to support and perform analyses of financial matters related to budget, reimbursement, and cost reporting. This position requires excellent analytical ability, financial and accounting skills, good judgment & decision-making, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate Federal/State rules and regulations into practice.
Education/QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
At least one (1) year of experience involving analytical research and reporting of complex financial data or any combination of relevant experience and education.
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling, and complex formulas
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite:
Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power PointExperience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred, but not required
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting tools
Ability to interpret and reconcile financial data with a high degree of accuracy
