Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a FP&A Manager, Electrical Sector. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You’ll DoEaton’s Corporate Division is currently seeking a Electrical Sector FP&A Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH North American Headquarters with hybrid work available.
Position OverviewAs Electrical Sector FP&A Manager, you play a crucial and instrumental role in ensuring our electrical sector financials integrity, communication and understanding. Reporting to the FP&A VP of the Electrical Sector, your primary function is to lead and support Business value-add analysis of actuals, forecasts, strategy planning and profit planning for all ES which accounts for more than 70% of Eaton's topline, and includes roll up of America's, GEIS, EMEA, APAC and Thermal segments.
This outgoing, networking and Business oriented Finance role collaborates closely with all Segment Finance and cross-functional Finance teams, and communicate operating results, performance measures and ad hoc analysis to the Electrical Sector FP&A VP, Electrical Sector SVP Finance, Electrical Sector COO, Corporate and other relevant stakeholders. To support Business value-add management decisions, actions and continue drive of operational and financial performance improvements, you also provide forward-looking insights and analytics.
- Lead the development, coordination, and execution of sector profit plans, strategic plans, monthly forecasts, operating reviews, and board and earnings preparation materials.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the FP&A VP, SVP Finance, and COO by assessing the financial implications of operating strategies, cost actions, and key business decisions, while helping segment leaders remain accountable to commitments.
- Provide thoughtful financial leadership as a key member of the Electrical Sector FP&A team, bringing a strategic perspective to business performance discussions and decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Corporate FP&A, segment teams, Investor Relations, Economics, Supply Chain Finance, and Controllership to build a comprehensive understanding of sector initiatives and the operational drivers behind reported results.
- Collaborate closely with segment FP&A leaders to evaluate forecasts, interpret business trends, and provide actionable insight on opportunities, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Translate complex financial results and forecast drivers into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership, enabling effective communication of actuals, outlook, and key business trends.
- Manage, analyze, and interpret segment forecasts and operating results; communicate performance outcomes to leadership; recommend corrective actions for unfavorable variances; and ensure financial data is accurate, consistent, and transparent.
- Conduct special analyses to support strategic decision-making, including evaluations of strategic initiatives, capital investments, business model changes, acquisition activity, make-versus-buy decisions, and pricing strategies.
- Lead ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as needed, including broader adoption of tools such as Power BI to enhance reporting, analytics, and decision support.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years financial experience with specific focus in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
