Role SummaryThis role supports clients in living more fully and worrying less by delivering tailored guidance. The Financial Advisor track includes a full training and development program, supported by ongoing resources designed to help you build knowledge, influence client decisions, and develop an enduring advisory business.
Key Responsibilities- Build: Develop knowledge of Northwestern Mutual financial products and market trends, strengthen client relationships, and network to grow your business alongside a Fortune 100 company.
- Educate: Extend learning beyond initial training through sponsored licensing and registration plus ongoing development, using assistive software, reporting tools, and illustrations to educate clients on potential plans.
- Influence: Provide clients with opportunities to protect and prosper, driving next steps through expert influence and recommendations.
- Own: Take ownership of business development and management as you scale the firm, including reviewing and maintaining client financial plans and continuing to provide advice aligned to clients' needs.
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution
- Series 6 or Series 7 and Series 63 or Series 66
- Proven success in the investment business and strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning concepts
- Desire for continuous learning
- Prior management or business ownership experience preferred
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
