Description
Ahuja 5th floor is a 36‑bed medical/surgical unit in which all beds have cardiac monitoring capability. It is comprised of all private rooms. Our patients range from 18 years old to 100+. On the 5th floor, an interdisciplinary approach is used to provide safe, patient‑centered quality care to those we care for, assisting in returning the patient to his or her optimal potential.
The unit is staffed by a Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, RNs, LPNs, PCAs and Clerical Associates. We work alongside the hospitalist team, community providers, as well as many of the hospital’s Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. We also have a night‑shift nurse practitioner and surgical associate on most evening shifts. We work well with other hospital departments to provide the best possible care to our patients.
