About This Role
The PRN RN in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) at Cleveland Clinic provides exceptional nursing care, assisting patients from initial introduction to final send-off. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgery environment.
Highlights- Pay: $41 - $41/hour
- Location: Beachwood, OH
- Facility: Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center
- Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
- Provide clinical nursing in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
- Assess patient care needs and plan the delivery of care.
- Process patients through the ASC.
- Direct other caregivers in providing patient care.
- Assume charge responsibilities and resolve problems.
- Develop educational materials and provide health education.
- Maintain nursing competencies.
- Participate in preparing staff development programs.
- Identify self-learning needs and establish goals.
- Demonstrate respect for cultural and social differences.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- One year of clinical experience as an RN in a perioperative or critical care setting OR three years of experience as a Surgical Technician
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire
