You will lead the supplier audit and risk program for Polymer/ Chemical commodity, ensuring resilient, compliant, and high-quality supply. This role blends on-ground audits, analytical risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier capacity to deliver measurable improvements in quality, compliance, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Audit Strategy Delivery
- Risk Assessment
- Material, Process Polymer/ Chemical commodity validation
- Supplier Performance
- Compliance Governance to specific norms (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, OHS, IATF etc.)
- Stakeholder Collaboration
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering / Polymer Science / Chemistry or equivalent.
8–10 years in supplier auditing, supplier quality, supplier assessment within Polymer/ Chemical commodity (Adhesion Engineered Polymer, Inorganic Specialty Chemicals, Upstream Chemical Polymers)
Demonstrated experience in auditing suppliers leading to measurable outcomes.
Core Skills CompetenciesSupplier Operational Assessments – Perform Onsite assessments for Quality, Supply Chain Capacity
Apply value stream mapping, create material, and process flows, Document pain points and gaps.
Sound knowledge of risk modeling (FMEA/ SRM), SPC, Pareto/ 5-Why/8D, dashboarding, trend analysis.
Supplier communication, negotiation, crisp documentation, stakeholder management, decision-making under ambiguity.
