Floor Leader

As a Floor Leader you support the Store Management Team across all areas of the business, driving sales, opening/closing the store, analysing results, and leading training sessions. Your role ensures an exceptional customer experience, a happy and motivated staff, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Driving Sales: Utilize the Store Force dashboard to coach the sales team, adjust the shop‑floor structure, and exceed sales goals. Take ownership of results and grow the contribution of your segments to overall sales.
  • Customer

    Experience:

    Lead by example in delivering world‑class service, including product demonstrations and consultations. Foster a culture of excellence that drives sales and builds customer loyalty.
  • Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values—Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging—and engage with the community through store parties and other initiatives.
  • Product Passion: Continuously deepen product knowledge to make informed recommendations for every need.
Team Involvement
  • Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance and support team growth.
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Encourage open communication and listen to team perspectives, fostering a sense of belonging and valuing unique contributions.
Operational Excellence
  • Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage transactions, open/close registers, reconcile cash drawers, prepare deposits, and secure the store.
  • Time and Attendance: Lead by example in punctuality, monitor breaks, and ensure team members are prepared for shifts.
  • Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Stock and Inventory: Train on inventory best practices, support management with inventory tasks, and adjust displays in real time.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, workplace respect, and health/safety.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales, cash handling/opening‑closing procedures, supervisory coaching, and problem‑solving in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Experience with consultation‑based customer service models, analyzing sales metrics, or working in skincare/cosmetics.
  • Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.

Pay: $16.50 USD per hour
