- Recruit, hire, and train your team; develop the management team.
- Customer Service: collaborate with your team to exceed daily sales goals and create a unique, inclusive experience that welcomes every visitor.
- Educate customers and staff on our brand values, including anti‑animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging.
- Increase product knowledge and consistently make informed recommendations for every need.
- Develop and execute business plans that align with the national strategy to improve KPIs and achieve sales goals.
- Leadership Practices: coach and develop staff, create development plans, encourage learning through Lush tools, provide constructive feedback, and inspire motivation.
- DEIB: maintain a diverse team, promote equity and belonging, and collaborate with your team on inclusive initiatives.
- Engagement and Performance: analyze staff engagement, create action plans, and address performance concerns with empathy.
- Recruitment and Selection: form diverse teams, demonstrate equal employment practices, and provide transparency in interviews and promotions.
- Policies and Procedures: ensure staff complete training on company standards, health and safety, anti‑harassment, and other guidelines while staying within budget.
- Stock and Inventory: manage ordering, maintain correct inventory, use reporting tools, and reduce waste within the allocated budget.
- Visuals and Merchandising: execute merchandising plans, train your team, maintain visual standards, and drive sales.
- Scheduling, Time, and Attendance: optimize staffing at peak times, record breaks and meals accurately, and maintain payroll accuracy while staying within labor budget.
- Required:
- 3-5 years managing in a retail environment.
- Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Preferred:
- Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
- Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback.
- Strong record of developing retail staff careers.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and adaptable to other systems.
- Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
Pay: $57,500 USD - $57,500 USD
