The Merchandising Assistant role is an on-site internship based in Beachwood, OH. The intern supports day-to-day marketing activities such as assisting with social media content creation, helping coordinate promotional campaigns, and maintaining brand consistency across channels. Responsibilities will include maintaining the retail and custom clothing showroom, working with clients, communicating with merchandisers to buy products. The intern will collaborate with team members to execute marketing tasks that showcase J&A Custom Clothing’s services and enhance customer engagement.

• Foundational marketing knowledge, including interest in social media, digital promotion, and brand awareness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate with a small team, and manage time effectively in a retail environment.
• Comfort engaging with customers and learning about fashion, styling, and luxury retail services.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or Fashion Design is preferred.
