Work Location:

23800 Mercantile Road, Beachwood, OH, USA 44122 Pay Rate $24 Per hour.

Qualifications:

Hold a High School Diploma with at least 2 years of laboratory experience; an Associate Degree in Chemistry or a related field with 1 year of experience; or a BS in Chemistry or a related science with no experience. Have experience with wet chemistry equipment and analytical methods. Understand the safe handling of chemicals and equipment, including maintaining detailed records. Are capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs.

The position does not require additional medical testing.

Responsibilities:

As a Technician, you will perform laboratory tasks, safely handle hazardous chemicals, and assist analytical chemists with sample preparation and quality control, all while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will Receive and follow instructions for assigned tasks, independently executing essential laboratory processes and equipment operations. Safely manage a variety of hazardous chemicals, including acids, R&D samples, and waste disposal, in accordance with wet chemistry techniques. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring the timely preparation of various material types. Support analytical chemists with daily responsibilities, including solid sample preparation, liquid sample dilution, pipette validation, and balance verification.

Comply with ISO and quality standards to uphold quality control requirements for the position. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles.
