Accounts Payable Specialist

Beacon Hill is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounts payable operations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include processing vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, matching invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation, preparing and processing check, ACH, and wire payments, reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies, responding to vendor inquiries and maintaining positive vendor relationships, assisting with month-end close activities, including AP reconciliations and accruals, maintaining accurate vendor records and ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting audits and other accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications include 2+ years of accounts payable experience, experience processing high-volume invoices, a strong understanding of AP procedures and accounting principles, proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

Preferred experience includes experience with purchase order matching and payment processing, familiarity with month-end close activities, and experience working in a fast-paced corporate, nonprofit, real estate, professional services, or multi-entity environment.
