Beacon, NY | $70,000–$85,000 + Benefits, PTO & Vacation

Are you a talented Banquet Chef who thrives on executing exceptional events and leading a strong culinary team? We are looking for an experienced, hands-on chef to join a successful hospitality operation in Beacon, NY.

What You'll Do

• Assist and oversee banquet culinary production and execution for upscale events.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
• Maintain exceptional food quality and consistency for events of varying sizes.
• Lead, train, and develop banquet cooks and culinary team members.
• Coordinate prep and production to ensure events are executed on time.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and product rotation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work closely with banquet, catering, and operations teams.
• Stay hands-on and jump in wherever needed to ensure successful events.

What We're Looking For

Upscale banquet experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Banquet Chef, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Catering Chef, or similar culinary leadership experience.
• Experience with upscale banquets, high-volume catering, weddings, corporate events, galas, or special events.
• Strong culinary and food presentation skills.
• Experience leading and training kitchen teams.
• Strong organization and event-production skills.
• Knowledge of food cost, inventory, ordering, and labor management.
• Ability to execute multiple events while maintaining quality and consistency.
• A hands-on leadership style and positive attitude.
