Maintenance Technician

Cafe Spice, a family-owned leader in globally inspired prepared foods, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our New Windsor, NY manufacturing facility running smoothly. You'll perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production, refrigeration, and packaging equipment; quickly troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues; and support continuous improvement for safety, uptime, and product quality. Working closely with operations and quality teams, you'll help ensure reliable, food-safe production so we can deliver bold, authentic meals to customers every day.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Support refrigeration and HVAC systems used in refrigerated and frozen food production
• Document work orders and parts usage in a CMMS or maintenance log
• Assist with equipment installations, line changeovers, and continuous improvement projects
• Follow all food safety, OSHA, and company safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure reliable, food-safe production
• Inspect machinery regularly and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency
