Electrician

Join our team as an Electrician, where you will play a vital role in wiring and assembling control panels, switch gear, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control centers to power conveyor systems. You will be responsible for automation and controls, working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), optical sensors, encoders, and safety interlocks to manage conveyor belt speed, direction, and tracking.

• Install, wire, and test control panels and switch gear.
• Work with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motor control centers.
• Manage automation and controls using PLCs.
• Handle optical sensors, encoders, and safety interlocks.
• Ensure proper conveyor belt speed, direction, and tracking.

• Experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), especially Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Ability to install and assemble control panels and switch gear.
• Experience with automation and controls.

• Experience with optical sensors and encoders.
• Familiarity with safety interlocks for conveyor systems.

This is a temporary role with a 1st shift schedule, working Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Beacon, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
