What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
  • Supporting daily living skills and independence
  • Assisting with appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
  • Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
  • Following individualized support plans and goals
  • Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care

Qualifications Required
  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification if not currently certified
  • Ability to pass:
    • State and Federal criminal background checks
    • Drug screening
    • Pre-employment physical and PPD
Preferred
  • Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, healthcare, or a related field
  • Additional education in human services, healthcare, education, or a related discipline

  • Full-Time
  • Thursday-Monday
