Sterile Processing Technician

Summary:

The Sterile Processing Technician performs the following tasks: receiving, decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of sterile instruments and supplies used throughout the hospital.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Completion of a Central Service Technical Training course within one year of employment preferred
• Certification as a Central Service Technician preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment
• Licensed as a Nurse Aide in the State of Nebraska preferred

Full-Time;
Monday‑Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
