Mixing Room Operator

Overview

Beatrice Bakery Co. is searching for a full-time Mixing Room Operator to join us at our production facility in Beatrice, NE!

Expected start date of early March 2026

The Mixing Room Operator position is the critical first step in our production process, responsible for preparing all of our batters to the highest quality and safety standards before they move on to be baked and sent out to satisfied customers around the world.

• Gathering and portioning ingredients according to exact recipes and schedules
• Operating industrial mixing machines
• Cleaning equipment to precise sanitation standards
• Adhering to strict quality and safety policies

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic math skills and knowledge of weights and measures
• Good written and oral communication skills
• The ability to read, understand, and follow recipes
• The ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift containers up to 60 lbs
• The ability to push/pull 1,000 lbs on a wheeled cart
• Ability to work under normal production environmental conditions (temperature extremes)
• Good eye-hand coordination and motor skills, and ability to move throughout the plant
• Visual/hearing ability sufficient to recognize or detect warning devices/signs and deviations from production standards
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (E-verify required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or food service
• Nebraska food handlers permit or other food safety certification
• Allergen safety certification

On-the-job training will be provided.

This is a full-time, hourly position, typically scheduled 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday - Friday, with some overtime possible during the busy season. Competitive pay commensurate with experience.
