QA Line Inspector, 1st Shift - Exmark

Exmark, located in Beatrice, Nebraska, is a division of the Toro Company.

Hours:

1st Shift 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Pay: $22.24

• Accurately inspect incoming parts flagged for inspection by SAP Quality Program and make an accurate decision as to accepting or rejecting parts based on fit, form, or function.
• Maintain accurate records and process appropriate documentation.
• Review nonconforming product and process documentation to allow the Exmark Shipping Department to return product to suppliers.
• Troubleshoot problems with purchased parts in production and assess situations.
• Work closely with Engineering, recommending drawing changes if errors or variations are found.
• Assist in finished product evaluation and feedback by conducting periodic "Hot Test" audits.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to react to adverse part situations so vendors can be notified.
• Work with Engineering for inspection of prototype parts.
• Perform first piece inspection so vendors can start production runs if parts are acceptable.
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
• Operate with a high degree of accuracy and exercise prudent judgement, able to work without supervision.

• High school diploma plus two years of technical training in Manufacturing Engineering, nondestructive testing or related fields.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inspection procedures.
• Basic knowledge of common manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read complex blueprints.
