Shift Hours

1st Shift (6 AM - 2 PM) - Eligible for $2.00 Lead Differential.

About the Company

Exmark, a division of The Toro Company, is a leading manufacturer of commercial mowers and equipment for landscape professionals.

What Will You Do?
  • Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials to meet production goals.
  • Examine items produced to determine if they meet specifications.
  • Interpret company policies for workers and enforce policies and safety regulations.
  • Interpret specifications, drawings, and job orders for subordinates and assign duties.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Check inventory to ensure necessary parts and quantities are available and confer with purchasing department if needed.
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to improve production methods, tools and equipment maintenance, inventory, and product quality.
  • Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.
  • Train new employees.
  • Maintain knowledge of activities of workers supervised.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Conduct 3-Tier meetings with employees.
  • Follow and develop written standard work and maintain it.
  • Update production boards hourly.
  • Assist in driving the job rotation program.
  • Provide input on performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplinary actions, addressing complaints, and resolving problems for employees in the group.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires 18 months of on-the-job experience (or supervisor’s discretion).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, production work orders, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to complete paperwork and correspondence.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
