This is a full‑time, on‑site Salesperson role based in Beatrice, NE. The Salesperson will welcome customers to the dealership, actively listen to their needs, and guide them through vehicle selection, test drives, and feature demonstrations. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales process from initial contact through closing, preparing and reviewing sales documents, and coordinating with finance and service teams to support a smooth customer experience.
The role involves following up with leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, and staying current on product knowledge, incentives, and inventory. The Salesperson will also support showroom presentation, participate in sales events, and contribute to a professional, inclusive, and customer‑focused environment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly with a diverse range of customers.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience guiding customers through a buying process, overcoming objections, and closing deals ethically and effectively.
- Solid organizational and time‑management skills, with attention to detail in handling paperwork, scheduling appointments, and managing multiple customer interactions.
- Comfort using digital tools and dealership systems (e.g., CRM software, email, online lead platforms) to track prospects, follow up, and maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to learn and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of vehicle features, pricing, incentives, and industry trends.
- Previous automotive sales or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; a strong drive to learn and succeed in a team‑oriented environment is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to conduct test drives as needed.
