Job Details

Hours:

2nd Shift, 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

Pay: $22.24 plus $2.00 shift differential for a total of $24.24 for 2nd Shift.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure integrity of Inventory Control System.
  • Fill carts brought to warehouse inventory location and prepare them for delivery.
  • Communicate with Cycle Counting organization regarding inventory location changes.
  • Address emergent inventory replacement needs.
  • Report missing or low inventory levels (beyond normal).
  • Work with forklift operators to maintain appropriate inventory levels in Kanban pick bins.
  • Remove packaging from parts in preparation for line delivery.
  • Maintain a clean inventory warehouse.
  • Identify damaged or potentially damaged storage racks and report to the Safety Administrator.
  • Act as Line Parts Runner: move station part carts to the proper warehouse location for filling.
  • Move station parts carts from warehouse location to Assembly or Welding location.
  • Supply Assembly/Welding with emergent parts on an as‑needed basis.
  • Provide liaison communication between the assembly line requirements and the inventory warehouse supply.
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
  • Willingly perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write and complete routine reports.
  • Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • A forklift safety training certificate is required.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and being good with numbers (especially recognizing transposition errors) are required skills.
