Position Title: Adjunct Faculty in Sports Management

Department: BFT Hospitality Management, University of South Carolina Beaufort

Location: Beaufort College Campus, part‑time (10 hours per week)

Schedule: Flexible schedule to meet departmental needs

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience; temporary employee benefits include health and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and retirement programs (see "Working at USC" portal).

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality instruction in Sports Management courses.
  • Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Attend departmental meetings and collaborate with faculty as needed.
Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Sports Management, Business Administration with a focus on Sports Management, or a closely related field.
  • Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise and practical experience in sports management.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
