Who We Are Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls, is searching for a Mission Coordinator (Tactical Data Link Coordinator) located at MCAS Beaufort, SC in support of the Beaufort Tactical Training Range (BTTR). In this role, you will apply your operational expertise to evaluate fleet training requirements, develop meaningful training solutions, and help ensure the Navy’s LVC enterprise delivers realistic, effective training for Sailors and warfighters.

This position requires a deep understanding of naval operations, fleet readiness processes, and integrated training systems. What You Will Do Responsible for development, production, and continuous update of written, photographic, audio, video and mixed media training aids and materials for mission planning. Supports planning and coordination for agencies participating in or supporting training operations on the Tactical Training Range complex.

Attends pre-mission conferences for users and support groups. Coordinates user flight schedules/training requirements with tactical training system range and warning area availability to ensure maximum utilization of tactical training system facilities. Coordinates tactical training system assets and communicates daily with aviation units, air control units, airspace/air traffic control agencies and other tactical training system facilities to ensure coordination of necessary participants.

Maintains computer database of range utilization, prepares reports of range availability/scheduling/utilization. Develops and presents briefings on capability, operation, and requirements to military and government agencies, to include VIP presentations. Provides for equipment operator training for Range Training Officers (RTO) and other on-site personnel in operation of display consoles. Performs RTO functions when user RTOs are not available. Solicits customer feedback and encourages completion of customer surveys.
