This position spans the academic year, offering steady, full-time hours from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. You'll be placed at one of several distinctive schools, ranging from high school to K-8, within a vibrant coastal region.

Qualifications:
- Valid credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter, with a minimum score of 3.5 on the EIPA assessment
- Previous experience interpreting in an educational or school environment
- Thorough knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and the ability to adapt communication styles for diverse student needs
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and support staff
- Professionalism, reliability, and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive sign language interpreting services in assigned classrooms and throughout the school
- Facilitate clear communication between Deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff
- Support student participation in both instructional and extracurricular activities
- Help create a welcoming, equitable educational environment
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all interactions adhere to professional and ethical standards
