The Breast Services Coordinator is responsible for the creation, development, and facilitation of Breast Care Services at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The role establishes, implements, and monitors an effective and efficient experience for women through many disciplines required for care. The coordinator develops relationships with outside providers and hospital departments to case manage patients through the continuum of care. They are the first contact for patients and providers, ensuring quality and success of the program through identifying and intervening in all breast issues.

The coordinator seeks to grow and develop protocols and pathways to enhance the service, continuously improving the experience for patients and providers, and serves as Chair of a Multidiscipline Team consisting of hospital, departmental and physician providers.

• RN with 5 years experience. Ability to obtain a South Carolina license. BSN preferred.

• 5 years nursing experience with experience in Surgical and Women's Health. Experience in case management and patient education counseling.

• Current BLS required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
• ACLS preferred.
• Certified Breast Health Coordinator preferred. Must seek certification within 6 months of employment.
• South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
