Security Officer
Location: Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Shift: Nights
ResponsibilitiesProvides security for patients, employees and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets and premises as assigned.
Qualifications Education- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Sufficient previous experience to perform security and safety operations.
- South Carolina Driver’s License or applicable state driver’s license required. A clear criminal record must be verified in a background clearance by SLED at hire and updated annually.
- SC SLED License for private security required within probationary period.
- Certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention required within probationary period and with annual re‑certification.
- BLS certification preferred within probationary period.
