Beaufort County is seeking a Vehicle Upfitter to install, modify, test, and remove vehicle-mounted equipment for county fleet vehicles. Under supervision, you will install emergency lighting, radios, sirens, consoles, partitions, and related gear per manufacturer specs and safety standards.
You will perform wiring, grounding, cable routing, and equipment mounting, conduct functional tests, review work orders, and maintain up-to-date installation records. A valid driver’s license is required.
