Kintz Electric LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Service Electrician to perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades for residential and commercial customers throughout the Low country.

The Service Electrician is expected to work independently, diagnose electrical problems efficiently, communicate professionally with customers, and complete work safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes and Kintz Electric standards.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Perform electrical service calls independently and complete assigned work efficiently.
• Install and repair switches, receptacles, lighting, ceiling fans, breakers, panels, circuits, and other electrical equipment.
• Diagnose power loss, tripping breakers, faulty wiring, and other electrical problems.
• Perform service upgrades, panel replacements, dedicated circuits, and equipment connections.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
• Determine necessary labor, materials, equipment, and repair requirements for assigned service calls.
• Clearly explain electrical problems and recommended repairs to customers.
• Maintain accurate job notes, material usage, photographs, and service documentation.
• Communicate with the Service Manager regarding job status, additional work, material requirements, and customer concerns.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable state and local requirements.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements at all times.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and assigned inventory in a clean and professional condition.
• Keep work areas and customer properties clean and organized.
• Assist and mentor apprentices when assigned.
• Identify additional electrical concerns or potential improvements while maintaining an honest, customer-first approach.
• Represent Kintz Electric professionally with customers, contractors, inspectors, vendors, and the public.

• Minimum 3-5 years of electrical field experience preferred

• Strong residential and/or commercial service experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and applicable electrical codes.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple service calls and changing priorities throughout the workday.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to pass applicable pre-employment requirements.

The position requires the ability to regularly lift and carry tools, materials, ladders, and equipment; work from ladders and elevated areas; bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in confined spaces; and perform electrical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

A successful Service Electrician at Kintz Electric should be able to diagnose the problem, develop the solution, communicate it clearly, and complete the repair correctly the first time

Performance will be evaluated based on quality of workmanship, productivity, safety, attendance, customer satisfaction, proper documentation, care of company property, callbacks, and overall professionalism.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina / Low country Service Area

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with overtime or after-hours work as operationally required
