Customer Service Representative – Part Time Job Description

Domino’s Pizza seeks a customer service representative with a positive attitude, people skills, and the willingness to learn and grow within the company. The role involves taking orders, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Job Requirements

You must be 18 years of age or older.

General

Job Duties
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Communication Skills
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
  • Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately and quickly.
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Coordinate eye and hand movements for rapid and accurate tasks.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions
  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash or performing other outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F and above in some work areas.
  • Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
  • Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing and

Physical Requirements
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Standing for most tasks and walking short distances on tile or linoleum.
  • Lifting items up to 50 pounds with a hand truck and carrying heavier items as described below.
  • Additional physical tasks include climbing stairs or a ladder, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching above 72 inches.
Advancement

Many team members progress from delivery driver or customer service representative to management, franchise ownership, or corporate roles.
